GENERAL INFORMATION:
- courses on various levels start twice a year - in October and February
- language classes are held twice a week: Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays. The length of each course is 1 semester (60 teaching hours)
- courses are conducted by experienced teachers specialized in teaching Polish as a foreign language
- while the courses are held in Hungarian, we have a number of non-Hungarian speakers each semester, and in our experience they get by quite easily with the help of our teachers and their fellow students
- the fee includes the cost of the final test and the certificate
- the fee does not include the cost of the required handbooks
ENROLMENT AND FEES:
- enrolment: by email or telephone (see contact details below) or personally in the Polish Institute
- course fee (for one semester): 39,000 HUF (discounted price for students: 35,000 HUF)
- payment: by bank transfer to the following account: Penta Art Egyesület, 10300002-10565128-49020027; in the "Sender to Receiver Information" field, please include the following: Language course fee, 1st/2nd/3rd etc. semester
- proof of payment: in order to be able to attend the courses, please submit a copy of the bank transfer confirmation in person or by email to the Polish Institute
HANDBOOKS:
The required handbooks (Hurra!!! Po polsku) are available in Gdansk Bookstore Café [1] (Address: 1111 Budapest, Bartók Béla út 46.; Phone: +36209881873). The course fee does not cover the cost of the necessary handbooks, they must be obtained individually.

STATE CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION IN POLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
The examinations are staged by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language. Examination requirement standards and rules of procedure are based on the latest recommendations of the Council of Europe aiming at the standardization of foreign language proficiency testing across Europe. Examinations are held at least 3 times a year (spring, summer and autumn) at levels B1, B2 and C2.
